Reflection
(Intro to Honors - Group Project)

This project considered the fear of failure that honors students face. We defined what it is, how we personally have experienced it, and how to cope with it. Also, we linked it with cognitive biases including the illusion of control bias and the murphy's law bias. This project helped me reflect on the fear of failure and realize most, if not all, of my peers experience it in one way or another.

Reflection
(Psychology- Honors Group Presentation)

This project looked further into the myth of sticking with your initial hunch if you are unsure of the answer. We worked together to compile research regarding where it this myth originated from and if it is true or false. Ultimately, we found that this myth is false and that it is important to dispel it. This project allowed me to practice researching things on my own using peer reviewed articles (through the library website). It also allowed me to form my own opinions on myths like these.

Reflection
(Drug Dosage Calculation - Honors Project)

This project explored the case of Radonda Vaught, and related the seven rights of medication administration to this case. I discussed what happened and what went wrong (applying the seven rights).  I also explained the importance of this case, which is that it could/ will have an impact on future nurses and the environment they work in. This project allowed me to explore my interest in the nursing field, and consider a case that could have lasting effects on my future career as a nurse.

Reflection
(Professionalism in Collaborative Practice - Honors Project)

This project was a reflection of the Indiana Donor Network annual event "Amplify." This project allowed me to learn more about organ and tissue donation.
